1. MUGAVUS

Mugavus on kõige alus!

2. MIDAGI ERILIST

Kontsakingad, silmatorkavad kõrvarõngad, värviline kott või huvitav detail pluusi küljes. Üks eriline element riietuse juures mängib suurt rolli ja teeb üldmulje huvitavaks.

3. KINDLUSTUNNE

//While being on that poppy field, at first I was wearing a red dress, because it seemed so perfect in my mind with those red poppies. But what actually turned out was, that this dress made me uncomfortable. I looked awkward. My sister suggested I change the dress with the white blouse I had brought with me. Although I wasn't matching with the red poppies anymore, I discovered that this blouse is great! It has been in the bottom of my closet a long time and feels boxy every time I try it on, but turns out it is actually one of those clothing items that makes me look good and confident. I'm going to tell you why...

1. COMFORT

Comfort is the key! If you feel comfortable, you are not awkward. And awkward never looks good! When it is windy, a mini dress looks awkward, but a flowy white shirt doesn't. This shirt is from H&M, in a gorgeous ivory pleated fabric that's slightly see-through. Bell sleeves look good while moving in the wind and a loose cut makes this shirt flattering around the waist and gives me extra room to feel comfortable.

2. THAT "LITTLE EXTRA" SOMETHING

A pair of heels, statement earrings, a colourful bag or a detail on your shirt. It makes a statement and you won't look boring. Don't underestimate the power of little details.

3. SUPPORT

I always wear a bra and also a belt when wearing trousers. Otherwise I feel all over the place. There is nothing less flattering than sagging jeans or peaking underwear. The red dress was totally wrong with this weather, because it rose every time there was a breeze. I had to hold it in place or sit in the grass to hide my bum. If I would have shorts underneath - totally different story!

What I mean to say, is that picking outfits according to weather is so important if you want to feel good and look confident.

Nüüd on see üks minu lemmikutest pluusidest.

//I think I should buy clothes for actual events when I need them, not when I find something I like. The reason is, if I need something specific, I'll find something that I use the most. This shirt (link HERE) suits me in so many different ways, it's multifunctional. Perfectly wearable even on the beach. I bought this shirt randomly, because I spilled something on my outfit and I had an event to go to. It was windy so I was looking for something light and flowy, which would move nicely with the air. Palm tree apliques are not actually my cup of tea, but there wasn't much to choose from with the time I had left. Now it is my favourite shirt. I wouldn't have bought it in usual circumstances.

If palm tree apliques go out of style, I can remove them and still wear the shirt ;). Classic white never goes out of style, right?!

Olen pidevalt uute plakatite, piltide ja illustratsioonide otsingul, sest nendega on nii lihtne tuua muidu minimalistlikusse koju veidi värskust. Mõni aeg tagasi saatis Grafomap mulle minu vabal valikul kaks kaardiplakatit.

Millised on Teile südamelähedased kohad, millest laseksite kaardi trükkida?

//I'm always searching for new posters, pictures and illustrations for our home, because it is so easy to change the look of the room with pictures on the wall. A while ago Grafomap sent me custom made map posters. I chose my home parish Kose and of course couldn't resist a map about Tallinn. These two locations are so close to my heart and it felt obvious to place them on our walls. Kose map hangs in our living room and Tallinn in our bedroom.

This post should have been up already in February, but it is really difficult to find a black wooden frame for pictures that big (50x70cm). So I wasn't able to frame them. Finally we decided that plastic frame will do, we can always change them later, right?!

I'd like to change the skeleton drawing too. I drew that in the university a while back. It is close to my heart, but we could use something more bright and colourful in its place. What do you think?

Which place would you print as a map?

In friendly collaboration with Grafomap. All opinions are my own.

//Weather is finally great here in Estonia and it's totally different now. People are happier, more relaxed and they spend a lot of their time outside enjoying life.

I´m not any different from them in that way, because I find myself more and more outside for no reason. So on Wednesday I spent a long day in Tallinn and just before the sunset we (me and my lil sis) took some pictures for my blog. I've got a lot of compliments about this navy blue top, but I don't think it looks that good on photos. I guess some clothes are more photogenic than others..

Top: Denim Dream
High waisted jeans: Zara
Shoes: River Island
Jacket: Zara
Bag: Michael Kors

Olen avatud raamat :)

//This week I have planned a home decor related post for you, which has been waiting for me to write it since February actually. Plus, I have some design related news to bring you and something about fashion too.

I'm thinking about posting three times a week again. An idea about series of posts is on my mind, but I´ll talk about it more when posting the first one. Something a little different to spruce up my blog. If you have any additional ideas or things you want to know, just let me know. I'm an open book! :)

Hei! Kuidas Teil läinud on?

// Hi everyone! How are you doing? I've been quiet a lot recently, but it will change from now on. My exam period is over now and I finally finished my last research. Now I can focus on work, family, blogging and RESTING. I think the latter is the most important thing for me right now, but I can always do several things at once.. resting with family for example. This week I'll finish few important things and then help my sister with home renovation a little bit. Today I'll stop by at the HAY-HAY fashion event. I'll bring some news to you too! At the end of the week our relatives from Ukraine will come to visit. They're going to stay for a week. We have a Stockholm trip planned during the time also. I'm sure it's going to be fun!

On Saturday it was EBA Awards, but I couldn't go. I was so sad. M came to rescue and offered that we go hang outside instead, just the two of us wandering around. I pulled on my old white jeans and this floral t-shirt to brighten up my mood. Florals for spring are quite common, but you know what.. not for me. I guess I've always been afraid of bold prints or any kind of prints. Now I've discovered myself wearing them more and more. It is so weird how experimenting can make you love stuff that you previously were afraid of or even hated. We drove around and experienced most incredible gloomy evening. We passed this long road with lilac shrubs, field with flourished dandelions on opposite direction. It was beautiful! Obviously we had to stop the car for some outfit photos! ;)

Good afternoon from my comfy couch! Life is preeetty good right now I can say.. I'm writing a research for my Statistics course, which will end on saturday! Whoop-whoop! I know I won't be able to rest until then, but I'm looking forward to the first year at university to end!

I’m checking by to let you know that I'm still alive, but just occupied with different responsibilities. I have been a little bit in a rut lately and I even wrote you different blog posts, but decided not to publish them, because I would have regretted it later. I know all of us feel unmotivated sometimes and maybe even depressed, but I don't want to bring that here. Not at least when I'm not thinking straight. It's just that sometimes you get overwhelmed by life events, you get stressed and moody, and life gets even worse just because of that. I should have taken a break, but FOMO (fear of missing out) is something I've been struggling too... :) Be smarter than me!

- CRUSHING ON THIS -

So something exciting happened this week. I was invited to check out Lindex AW 2017 collection, so cool! When I saw their collection, I was kind of disappointed, because it's just June and I'll have to wait until August to get my hands on! So many pieces that I've been searching the whole winter. Off-shoulder ultra-soft knits, patent leather jacket, patent skirt, graphic print t-shirts, leopard print fur coat.. you don't want to miss them!

I'm writing my research until Saturday, spending my days behind my computer the whole time. I'd rather help my sister with her home renovation or spend some time with my family, friends or M, but since I already left things to the last minute (I'm the ultimate procrastination queen), I can't do that! BUT seeing my research come along step by step is still rewarding and I know I can be proud of myself later!

So, see you soon! Hope your doing good.

BTW, It's EBA Awards on Saturday! I'm going, if I finish on time with my research. Who else is going?
